Our Story

Islands of Paradise Jewelry is a company created due to one girl’s love of meaningful jewelry that preserves lasting memories. Growing up I had big dreams about what I was going to do with my life.  Events happened that change everything. For me this started with my mother’s battle with ovarian cancer, which she pasted away from. Then I became sick and couldn’t get well. After many doctors and a couple hospital visits it was discovered I had an immune deficiency. This drastically changed my life because now I had fatigue every single day to deal with. If that wasn’t enough then it was found I had breast cancer. When it rains it really pours. I went through breast cancer treatment and now I’m feeling a little better.

My significant other and I decided we needed to start taking the time to go on some vacations. It’s important to make good memories while Im feeling better. You never know what tomorrow will bring.

During one of our trips, I saw a necklace I wanted to buy but I wasn’t feeling the greatest and we went back to the hotel before I could purchase it. I always meant to go back but it just didn’t happen. I thought wouldn’t it be nice if I could buy jewelry that reminded me of the great vacation experiences I had online. I decided to start a site where others could bring their vacation jewelry home. As long as my heath permits, I plan to bring you a variety of beautiful jewelry from different locations as I travel and share my journey of new life discoveries.
